When Ben Grosse Stepped In

There’s a moment in every record when you realize you can’t hear it anymore.

You’ve lived with the songs too long. You’ve sung every harmony. Moved every drum hit. Nudged every synth line at 2:00 a.m. You love it — but you’re too close to it. You can’t see the forest for the trees.

That was me.

I recorded this entire album in my own studio. Every track. Every vocal. Every layer. It was personal in a way that’s hard to explain. These songs weren’t just performances — they were chapters. And at some point, I knew I needed someone I trusted to step in and see it clearly.

So I sent the rough mixes in a folder to Ben Grosse.

Then I waited.

When Ben texted back, something shifted. The energy changed. I knew, before I even heard the first mix, that the circle was closing in the best possible way.

Ben has mixed and produced some of the biggest records in rock and alternative music. He’s one of those rare producers whose work feels powerful but never overdone — detailed, emotional, intentional. He hears the architecture of a song. He understands scale.

When the mixes came back, I just sat there.

He didn’t just “clean it up.” He lifted it. The vocals sat exactly where they needed to. The low end breathed. The choruses opened up in a way that made me feel the songs again — not as the person who built them piece by piece, but as a listener.

Everything came full circle.

There’s something beautiful about trusting the right collaborator at the right moment. Ben didn’t let me down. He met the music where it was and brought it to the level it was always meant to reach.

Now the album is ready. The videos are ready. The world is ready.

And I cannot wait to share this with you this year.
